We may have to change our website to INTERPHEX.EDU.
And also pick some vibrant school colors, an interesting mascot, and start recruiting for our nationally ranked football team.
Well, we might be getting a little ahead of ourselves, but we have definitely developed a big time curriculum for INTERPHEX this year. We’ve gone back to the drawing board and completely reinvigorated INTERPHEX’s educational program. We recognize your need to stay current and learn from the industry’s best – what better place to do that then at the industry’s largest gathering, INTERPHEX 2014 where education comes in multiple dosage forms and delivery systems.
First, PDA (Parenteral Drug Association) will host three days of PDA Education@ INTERPHEX – a paid conference program featuring Industry Trends and Regulatory Expectations, Biopharmaceutical and Sterile Manufacturing, Pre-filled Syringe and Drug Delivery Technology, Supply Chain for the 21st Century, and Parenteral Packaging.
In addition, the show floor will feature three Innovation Stages with free content from the industry’s most credible publication sources including American Pharmaceutical Review, BioPharm International, BioProcess International, Contract Pharma, Life Science Leader, Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical Outsourcing, Pharmaceutical Processing and Pharmaceutical Technology.
The Innovation Stages will host roundtables, panel discussions and keynote presentations covering Continuous Manufacturing for Solid Dose Drugs, High Potency Manufacturing (APIs/finished drugs), Cleaning Validation, and more to be announced in the New Year. Bio Process International Magazine will also provide a poster session for the presentation of critical papers.
INTERPHEX is also pleased to host leading industry societies and organizations including the Society for Maintenance and Reliability (SMRP), Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (HBA), The Pharmaceutical Microbiology Forum-LAL Users Group, PDA Facilities/Engineering Interest Group, CRB Tech Tank Series, and PDA Water Interest Group. These groups will hold meetings and present specialized education for their members.
As the industry grows, the more it relies on the next generation of innovators. The Student and Young Professionals Program, sponsored by Health Sciences Industry Scholarship Fund & GMP Systems will review popular dosage forms, Phase IV Clinical Trials, (Pharmacovigilance or Post-Marketing), concepts of a Product Life-Cycle approach to manage drug products, interviewing and resume writing and use of social media.
Rounding out the educational offerings is the return of the IPS Technologies Floor Tours. Lace up your comfy shoes for these exclusive walking tours offering insight into the latest equipment, innovation, and manufacturing technologies. Technologies include Biomanufacturing, Advanced Aseptic, Oral Solid Dosage, Modular Construction and Inspection & Packaging.
Get ready to learn at INTERPHEX 2014 and we’re just kidding about starting a football team!
